Was an assistant on Ravnsborg, which he took over in September 1905.

Was the Director of the Thorning Sparekasse for more than 25 years, from 1930 - 1958.

Like his father, he was also Sognefoged (8 Jul 1932 - 7 Jan 1959).

He was on the Board of the Silkeborg slaughterhouse for 22 years and participated in two tours to England in 1921 and 1936. The first tour was from Esbjerg to Hull, with the homeward trip through France, Holland and Belgium, where they saw the war-torn districts, and he brought home shell pieces and cartridge casings found on the battlefield in addition to some pictures.

He owned Ravnsborg for 38 years, added more land so that it came up to 60 tdr. land and a complement of about 20 cows and about the same number of calves. A new barn was built in 1910 and cow and pig stalls in 1914.

In retirement, beginning in 1943, he lived at “Kirkely,” Blichersvej 31 in Thorning.
