Census 1787, Sinding, Hids, Viborg, Danmark (Dansk Rigsarkiv, Dansk Demografisk Database) shows two Marie Kirstine Jensdatters: #1, age 6, living with Karen Vestergaard and Ole Gorritz, child of Karen’s first marriage. Age matches age given after our MKJ’s marriage on 1801 Census, but does not match later censuses or death record. #2, age 9, daughter of Jens (Sørensen) Smed and Anne Jensdatter, is still living in Sinding in 1801 (age 25???) with her parents, where as our Marie Kirstine is already married with one child at this time, so this cannot be the right person. There is no other MKJ born in Sinding 1774-1778.
LDS IGI lists our MK’s death date with a sealing to parents for #2 but I feel this is incorrect because they show in different families on the 1801 Census.
