No sign of her or her husband in Hørup from 1739 to first child in 1751.
On the Index to the Hørup Parish Register, 1722-1762, her last name looks like “Johnsdatter”. On her death record it is “Jensdatter”. But on all of her children’s birth records she is consistently “Joensdatter”.
Different individual: 3 children (Kirsten 1775, Søren 1778, Kirsten 1780) born to Niels Sørensen & Maren Jensdatter in Kjellerup. However, this Maren died 1782, age 32. Therefore born 1850 & too young to be Maren Joensdatter from Almtoft.
