There are 2 Else Pedersdatters in Vinderslev area. #1 (ours) married Jørgen Jensen and died on 29 Mar 1851. #2 married Peder Andersen and died on 03 Oct 1857. Both of them have ages at time of death that would indicate a birth in 1780.

The 1834 Census shows both women. Our Else #1 lived in Voer with Jørgen (age 53-b1781?). The other Else #2 lived in Pederstrup with her oldest daughter Ane Kirstine (age 56-b1778?). This makes sense as she is from Pederstrup on her marriage record. Our Else #1 is from Serup on her marriage record.

Which Else is the daughter of Peder Danielsen and Anna Mikkelsdatter?
- searched (original) 1787 census of Pederstrup, Serup and Vinderslev. (All of these towns are in Vinderslev Parish.) All children under age 12. Found only one Else: living in Vinderslev with Peder Danielsen
- no ankomst or tilgangs in Serup before 1813.
- no clues on Mariane Jørgensdatter’s birth record sponsors, etc.
- searched Serup birth records 1777-1783: no luck
- search Lemming birth records 1777-1783: no luck
- Anna Mikkelsdatter (mother of Else#1) was born in Serup.
